A hard fought game tonight vs Kitchener Red who has played us tough all year found us in another see saw battle.  Kitchener took the lead in the second and then we answered back with 3:58 left in the second with a wicked bar down goal by Ava with assist going to Emma.

We took this awesome bunch of girls up to Alliston, On. this weekend and it was successful both on and off the ice!! With a shorter bench of 12 + our goalie our girls faced some tough competition and got a lot of ice time.  Oh, and we just happened to come away with a Silver medal to boot!!!

Starting last Monday on the road in Wilmot we were in a defensive battle. We were down 1-0 most of the game but we tied it up midway in the third to come out with an important point.

After the Cambridge RR tourney our whole group from the coaches down made a commitment to be better.  Well, better we were this weekend!  Two tough road games starting in Ayr on Saturday where we had a full team effort in a close game between two teams hungry for a win....

After a tough day in Stratford we had a long talk with the girls in the room tonight.  The effort was there but we just couldn't get out of our own end!!  After listening to me for a while we opended it up for the players to discuss things and we heard a lot of feedback from our intelligent yet frustrated players.
