Atom B, 2017-2018, Travel (Cambridge roadrunners Girls' Hockey Association)

The Cambridge roadrunners Atom B team brought home silver medals at the 37th Annual Peterborough Ice Kats Tournament Dec 1-3, 2017.   The Atom B team entered the final game with 4 straight wins.  A hard fought battle against the Carleton Place Cyclones ended in a score of 0-4 to finish with the silver medal in this 8 team division. Great work roadrunners!!   It was a fun-filled weekend for both players and parents including a pizza & movie birthday party, parents dinner out, Amazing Race team builder and live music from members of the BD band! Atom B roadrunners Rock!

On October 4, 2017 the Cambridge roadrunners Atom B team volunteered at the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank.  Team members arrived with food, office supplies and gift card donations. Players learned how the food bank operates and sorted donations in the warehouse.  The main lesson learned from our time at the food bank was "Helping Others is Fun!" Great work roadrunners!!
