Peewee B, 2018-2019, Travel (Cambridge roadrunners Girls' Hockey Association)

Provincials Championship Weekend was the perfect way to cap off a terrific season for the PWB team.  These girls went undefeated in the regular season with a 21-0-1 record, brought home 2 gold and 3 silver tournament medals, finished first for the PWB LLFHL division overall!  Off the ice there was lots of team building and giving back to our community! At Provincials weekend, there were two games on Friday and three games on Saturday that showed the true heart and soul of this team who never backed down!  For our quarter final game, we faced the undefeated Timmins Peewee Tahoe Falcons.  ...

As the finalists for Central-West LLFHL division, and one of only five teams going to Championship Weekend, our PWB players were ready to battle!  They put forward a tremendous effort, and despite some games that just didn’t go our way, the girls made it to the bronze medal game that ended with a sudden death overtime win for Ancaster.  

After a 22 game regular season that saw PWB finish first out of 53 teams, and then a grueling 8 weeks of playoffs, Pee Wee B team has earned their place as the Central-West Division Finalists at the LLFHL Championship Weekend. PWB will battle against the best of the best from across Ontario in Toronto this coming weekend, March 29-31. It has been a great season and the PWB girls should be very proud of their accomplishments!  And congratulations to all of the roadrunner teams who qualified for Championship Weekend  - we are excited to cheer everyone on! GO ROADRUNNERS GO!

Pee Wee B continued their undefeated streak during OWHA Playdowns, with a 4-0-1 record and finished first in their division.  Super proud of all of the PWB players for all of their hard work and battling through a very busy playdown and playoff schedule!  We look forward to supporting our fellow roadrunner teams at the Provincials April 5-7. Congratulations roadrunners and great job PWB girls!

Congratulations to the Pee Wee B Players and Coaching Staff for going 21-0-1 in the regular season. This undefeated season meant that PWB finished first overall in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) PWB division, and also first in our region – against some tough competition!
