Championship Weekend 2019
As the finalists for Central-West LLFHL division, and one of
only five teams going to Championship Weekend, our PWB players were ready to
battle! They put forward a tremendous effort, and despite some games that
just didn’t go our way, the girls made it to the bronze medal game that ended
with a sudden death overtime win for Ancaster.
We faced some great competition this past weekend and we are so proud of the PWB team for working so hard all weekend, and all season to get them to this point! Great accomplishment and the smiles on their faces in this team photo says it all - they were excited to take home some LLFHL swag and their central-west finalist medals to commemorate their awesome season!
Congrats to our fellow RR teams for bringing home bronze and gold hardware – it was great to be able to cheer them on!
And now we turn our attention to Provincials this coming weekend – go PWB go!
