U15AA Goes Undefeated to Win Bronze
The U15AA roadrunners started their showcase season with a bronze finish at the prestigious Stoney Creek U15AA Showcase last weekend.

Prepared for battle, the girls hit the ice on Day 1.  A third period goal was all they needed to achieve their first win (Sudbury Lady Wolves) and post their first shut out.  Game 2 saw another W (St Louis Lady Blues) to set the tone for the weekend.  
Day 2 of play saw the girls go unbeaten (Brampton Canadettes and North Bay Junior Lakers) to end the round robin second in their division, based only on a goal differential with a perfect record. 
4-0-0 in round robin led this mighty team to semis, where they played a hard fought game.  This win (Barrie Sharks) gave them another shut out!.  The girls continued to battle together through Game 6, where they laid it all on the ice for victory!  A 3-2 win (Peterborough Ice Kats) rounded out their stand out performance over the weekend. 
6-0-0, 2 shut outs and only 6 GA in a showcase of 56 of the top teams in the US and Canada, the 2023-24 U15AA roadrunners are kicking off their tournament season in high gear!
Congratulations to the players and coaches for a fantastic weekend of competition.
