Update for Parents
Parents:
As I am sure some of you have heard by now, Paul Foley has stepped down as coach of the second PeeWee team.
I was honoured to be asked to coach the team in his place and will be assuming the role of Head Coach for the 2019/2020 season.
I have had several of the same questions asked in my short time in the role and wanted to address them to ensure proper communication:
1) Roster Releases: I have been evaluating the girls informally since the tryout process began and have a fair understanding of skill level amongst the girls. I have also leaned on Coach Foley for his thoughts on each girl. I will be making an initial round of releases later this evening and will update parents on scheduled releases as the process continues.
2) Dressing for Monday's Game: I will have a roster posted for tomorrows game a little later this evening.
3) Communication: I will do my best to keep the lines of communication open and provide frequent updates. However, please do not hesitate to reach out directly via email or phone if there are particular questions or issues you would like addressed.
Thanks for your patience as I transition into the role - I only received formal notice this afternoon and am doing everything possible to get up to speed.
I'm looking forward to a fun and successful season of hockey and development!
