7:15pm PWA player event @ Rivs game - RSVP to Tracey-open for full details, Team Calendar, Peewee A, 2019-2020, Travel (Cambridge roadrunners Girls' Hockey Association)

Friday October 4^th: Rivs Game!!! Should be fun and I hope everyone can make it J. 

Here is the info:

Arrive at Preston Aud. at 7:15, to get dressed for 7:30 in full gear, home jerseys. Go on the ice at 7:40. No entry fee/cost with the exception of any additional snacks at the booth!!

Short skate/Oh Canada on ice participation, then back into changeroom to get into RR warm up gear/jersey to watch the rest of the game.

Pick up some pizza and a drink, and head to the stands as a team to cheer on the Rivs vs. the highly touted Kingston team...the Rivs will be looking for some extra loud cheering!  Signs are encouraged!

This weekend, Oct 4-6th is World Girls Hockey Weekend. This event has been submitted to OWHA as part of the celebration of girls hockey.  I am waiting to find out more form the OWHA about the details, we can submit photos to be included on their website and in the past there have been freebies sent out to all participants...checking in on this today!

Vaughan and I will be at the game, if there is one other changeroom mom to help in the changeroom and keep an eye on the girls during the game, that would be great.  Of course all parents are welcome to stick around.

The Rivs have asked to have one girl skate out with their flag, we will put all girls names in a hat and draw a name.  

I am also going to give each player a "Riv to watch", someone who plays the same position as them ...someone they can speak with afterwards.

To organize, it would be helpful to know if your daughter is able to attend.  One last group time before the season starts!
