Peewee A, 2018-2019, Travel (Cambridge roadrunners Girls' Hockey Association)

Congratulations to the roadrunners Peewee A team on going undefeated in Lake Placid this past weekend and capturing the Gold medal! What a weekend!!

On Sunday, November 24th, the Peewee A team purchased approximately $400 in Christmas gifts for families in need. The girls really got into the giving spirit and enjoyed picking out items for kids of all ages. All items will be donated to the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank next week. Way to go, girls!

The Peewee A team is heading to Lake Placid, November 29th–December 2nd and were honoured to have a special guest attend practice last week. Marwan Tabbara, MP representing Kitchener South–Hespeler attended practice to address the team with a great pep talk. Mr. Tabbara wished the girls luck, asked them to do a great job representing the organization, the city and their country, and presented the team with some Canadian items to share with our American counterparts. Good luck in Lake Placid, Peewee A.
