roadrunners Peewee Black Wins Silver!
The Peewee Girls HL Black team finished Silver in the 24-team Barrie Sharkfest Tournament that ran from Nov 14-16th!!!!!
After completing their round-robin effort with a perfect 3-0 record,
the girls defeated the Oakville Thunder 1-0 in the quarterfinal setting
up a thrilling 2-1 win over Cambridge White in the semi-final. The girls
fell just short in the final losing 2-1 to the Oakville Red Hornets but
most importantly, they had an amazing time and grew stronger as a team.
The
Peewee Girls HL Black team would also like to congratulate their
semi-final opponent Cambridge White on a similarly fantastic
tournament!!!! Both teams cheered enthusiastically for each other and
showed tremendous class while representing our organization.
