Tryouts for the 2025/2026 season are here!
The roadrunners will be hosting an Internal Development skate before tryouts for all players currently registered for the 2024/2025 season with the CrGHA. In order to participate in the internal Development skate you will be required to register for it. The Internal Development skate is scheduled for the weekend of April 16-17.

Tryouts
Players registered with the CrGHA are invited to attend this coming season's 25/26 tryouts for their appropriate age group commencing Monday April 23rd, 2025. This year we have created 2 packages for each age group.
- The 1st Pkg will allow for players to participate in all the tryouts from the top level AA through to our B teams.
- The 2nd Pkg will allow for players that choose to bypass the AA to start the tryouts at level A and tryout through to our B teams.
Please view the schedule below for your player's appropriate ice time. I.E. Players born in 2009 or 2010 will be attending the U18 ice time.
We ask that you check the schedule regularly as it is subject to change.
Players registered for tryouts will be assigned an identification number that will assist in tracking their progress and status throughout the tryout process.
When registering for tryouts the Season will show 2024/2025 - please note that is a System constraint which affects every association under the OWHA
- The pkgs are for tryouts for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
For current roadrunner players that are looking to try out with another association you are required by the OWHA to fill out a Permission to tryout form. Once you complete the Permission to Tryout form (PTT) our VP of travel will send you a copy of the completed and signed approved form in 2-5 days. Note that you will be required to present the signed form to the other associations.

Important Registration Info
All players MUST register in RAMP for Tryouts and/or Development sessions if they intend to tryout for the u9 rep team.
OWHA Permission to Skate Requirements
- Players who during the 2024/25 season were registered with other OWHA girls hockey associations must submit a properly signed OWHA Permission to Tryout/Skate form from their current association.
Bring this form to your first tryout.
- Players from co-ed (boys) leagues, Ringette, or with no association affiliation do not need a Permission to Skate form.
