Rookies (Cambridge roadrunners Girls' Hockey Association)

On Saturday, October 6th, the youngest group of roadrunners, took to the ice.  This group of 50+, 4-6 year olds showed off their hockey skills to family and friends.  Helping on the ice were members of the roadrunner Midget and Bantam teams along with our Intermediate AA team, the Rivulettes.  In this picture, Julia Vandyk a member of the Rivulettes helps out a young Rookie.

Each eligible child is entitled to receive (1) one helmet. To be eligible, your child must have been born in 2007 and be registered to play minor hockey in Canada. Parents must register their child.

Parents! Get involved and have some fun! The Rookies are looking for some parents to help on the ice to help the girls. If you are interested please contact Brian Legassicke at [email protected]. You will not be required to help at every ice time. 

All Rookie participants are expected to have full gear each time they step on the ice.
