Free roadrunner Goalie Development is back!!!
Submitted By roadrunners Hockey on Thu 07 27, 17
CrGHA is proud to announce the return of our Peer Goalie Development Program for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. This year we have expanded the program to include Travel goalies from Novice to Peewee, in addition to our House League goalies.

Instruction is led by our Bantam and Midget Travel goalies who assess and provide individualized feedback to each participant. For our volunteer instructors, the program is an unmatched opportunity to develop leadership skills while strengthening their own understanding of the position, and everything that goes into making a goalie successful. (Note: all volunteer instruction can be counted towards the required 40 high school volunteer hours)

Also, full-time House League goalies in all divisions are now eligible to receive a year-end registration rebate for committing to the position for the duration of the season. The following is an excerpt from our 2017-2018 By-laws:

6.5 HOUSE LEAGUE GOALIE REGISTRATION REBATE

6.5.1. At the end of each season, full-time house league goalies are eligible for a rebate of full registration cost less $100, provided the following conditions were met for the duration of the season:

• The player registered as a goalie at the start of the season. This discount is not pro-rated, nor a late decision offer.

• The goalie is in good standing with the Association.

• The goalie dressed and played as a goalie during all practices and games for their house league team. There are no discounted fees for hybrid player / goalies.

Note: a house league goalie does not also have to be a full-time DS goalie to qualify for the rebate.

If you have any questions about the Peer Goalie Development Program, please contact Greg Nagel at [email protected]
