U15AA roadrunners Show Grit and Determination at 64 Team-Stoney Creek Showcase
This past weekend, our U15 AA Cambridge roadrunners took part in the Stoney Creek Showcase, and I couldn’t be prouder of how our team performed — both on the scoreboard and in the way we came together as a group.
We faced strong competition from Dallas, Anaheim, Lac St. Louis, Brampton, and Vancouver— and walked away with two wins, two ties, and one loss. But more important than the results was the effort and commitment our players showed every single game.
The compete level was outstanding. Every shift, our team battled. We blocked shots, won puck races, and showed real grit against some very skilled opponents. That kind of character can’t be taught — and it’s something that will carry us far this season.
More than anything, I saw our group take big steps forward in learning how to play together. The chemistry is building, and the players are starting to understand what it takes to succeed as a team.
This tournament was a great test — and our group showed we’re ready to take on whatever comes next.
