U15BB went into the Lake Placid Can Am Challenge Cup on a five game undefeated streak.
They continued their winning ways with a victory in their first tournament game. After a tough loss on Saturday morning, the girls rallied their team spirit in the skills competition where their shooter, Magenta Docksteader, and their relay team of Lyla Dietrich, Myriam Kellett, Lyra Lajeunesse and Alyssa Schuurman were runners-up in their respective events. Goaltender Annabel McAloon also represented the team in the shootout. A hard-fought tie in their third game earned the team a spot in the bronze medal game where they battled to a 2-1 win to claim the bronze.
