In light of the evolving pandemic and new Omnicron variant, CrGHA will be implementing some additional safety measures to protect our members. We ask that all members please continue to wear your masks at all times, practice social distancing as well as practice proper hygiene to minimize the spread of the virus.

The following additional measures will be implemented immediately until further notice:

  • one parent or guardian can attend practices;
  • for games, you may only sit or stand with members of your immediate household. Maintain a distance of six feet from other spectators;
  • players must come to the arena 15 minutes before games and practices dressed as much as possible;
  • spectators must exit the arena immediately following a game or practice and where possible wait outside for players;
  • players must leave immediately after their ice time;
  • masks must be worn at all times by staff (on and off ice) as well as parents;
  • players must keep their masks on at all times unless they are on the bench or ice;
  • there will be no indoor activities such as dryland, Christmas parties or get-togethers until further notice;
  • continue to follow public health guidelines and recommendations.
The decision to continue with games and practices was a difficult decision. The safety of our members is of utmost importance while also recognizing the importance of member's mental, physical and emotional well-being. We are hoping these measures will allow the girls to continue playing while helping stop the spread of the virus. We will continue to follow the guidelines recommended by the Waterloo Region Public Health and make any recommended changes as directed.
We thank everyone for your cooperation.
