Atom Teal get 2 more wins against Waterloo!!
The Atom Teal Roadrunners win two more games against 2 different Waterloo Teams!! Giving the Waterloo Ravens #1 team their first loss of the Year!!
On Nov 25th the Atom Teal Roadrunners hosted the Waterloo Ravens#4 team at the Cambridge Ice Center. The Girls didn't waste anytime and Sydney opened the scoring in the first 27 seconds of the game. The girls never let up and continued scoring which led to a lopsided 12-1 victory for the Roadrunners!! Macie(1) and Samantha(1) scored their first goals of the season. Congrats Girls!! Caitlin(2), Sydney(3), Lorelai(5), and Cecilia(19) also scored for the Roadrunners. Great Team Effort Girls!!
The next game on Dec 1st was against the #1 Waterloo Team. This was going to be a great test for our girls, going against the top team that had not lost a game all season. This was a very close checking game with great Defense and Goaltending. It wasnt until almost the end of the 2nd period when Cecilia(20) recieved a great pass from Caitlin, and finally was able to get one past the Waterloo Goalie. One minute later Cecilia(21) recieved another amazing drop pass from Lorelai to put the Roadrunners up by 2. In the 3rd we got one more goal Cecilia(22) that would put the game away. Congrats Keira on her 2nd Shut Out!! Great Job Girls on a amazing hard fought win!!!
