AND WE ARE OFF.......
On Sunday October 22nd, the Cambridge roadrunners U18-AA team kicked off their 2023/24 season in style with their "Home Opener" vs the Oakville Hornets U18-AA team.
The U18-AA team shared this special event with the future, up and coming hockey stars of the Cambridge roadrunners Girls Hockey Association by inviting players from the roadrunners U9 team to participate in the pre-game warm up, ceremonial puck drop and national anthem.
But the highlight for all the players in attendance was the special guest invited to drop the ceremonial puck. Member of Team Canada, winner of three IIHF World Championships and two Olympic Gold Medals; Jocelyne Laroque!!!
