With the
season rapidly approaching, we are excited to start building both the U11AA and
U11B Cambridge Roadrunner teams. Players and families intending to play in
Cambridge – or to attend the open tryouts – will be required to register via
RAMP.
Details of the tryouts and development skates are as follows:
Development Skates:
Development skates are NOT evaluation skates and are designed for players already registered for the upcoming season to work with U11AA and U11B coaching staffs on skills and preparation for tryouts. These skates are optional and included in the cost of the registered player tryout package as part of the guaranteed seven (7) skates each player received. Players interested in trying out for a travel team are STRONGLY encouraged to attend these sessions.
Times for these sessions are as follows:
Wed Aug 31st: 7:30pm – 8:30pm @ Hespeler 2
Thursday Sept 1st: 6:30pm – 7:30pm @ Hespeler 2
Monday Sept 5th: 5:15pm – 6:15pm @ Sports Park South
Tues Sept 6th: 5:00 – 6:00pm @ Hespeler 1
Tryouts:
Upon completion of the development skates, formal tryouts for placement on the U11AA or U11B team will begin. These tryouts are open to all players who have registered for tryouts in RAMP and include those not currently registered to play in Cambridge. Players who are selected to play on the U11AA team will be notified, while those not selected will be invited to attend additional tryout sessions for potential placement on the U11B team.
Times for these sessions are as follows:
Friday Sept 9th: 6:30pm – 7:30pm @ Hespeler 2
Saturday Sept 10th: 12:00pm – 1:00pm @ Hespeler 2
Sunday Sept 11th: 3:30pm – 4:30pm @ Hespeler 2
Monday Sept 12th: 5:00pm - 6:00pm @ Hespeler 1

Player selection will be based on a combination of skill, work ethic, commitment, and desire to excel at an elite level. If your daughter is interested in playing at the AA level in Cambridge or if you have any questions related to the tryout process, you are encouraged to reach out to the Head Coach to discuss.
