Atom Teal Win Atom A Pool FInals
The Atom Teal Roadrunners won the Atom A Pool Final this past weekend against a very good Kitchener Red Team.
This game was an amazing effort, from an amazing bunch of girls. The Atom Teal Roadrunners finished 3rd in the 2nd half of the season. They had to play the first place Kitchener Lady Rangers Red in the Final! The game had all the excitement of a Final game. Amazing goal tending, impressive defensive plays and back and forth action. The only goal scored in the game was scored with 1 second left in the first period by Cecilia, to give the Roadrunners the lead. Kitchener tried everything to get a goal, but the girls held them off and finished the game 1-0. It was the first time this season that Kitchener Red was held scoreless in a game, and it took the effort of every girl on this roster to do it. Congratulations Atom Teal to a great win and an amazing season. Our goal was set early in the season to get to the Finals and each member of this team did everything it took to achieve this goal!
