Midget AA Team Participates in 2Nations College Prep Series Tournament
The Midget AA team was in Brampton this past weekend where they
participated in the 2Nations College Prep Series Tournament. Our team went
2 & 2 in Round Robin format. The girls opened the tournament with a
2-0 loss to the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers but rebounded with a 4-0 win over Rocky
Mountain Colorado Roughriders and a 2-1 win over the Colorado Selects. They
finished preliminary play with a 2-0 loss to the Thunder Bay Queens.
There were 44 teams in this tournament, our team finished 21st overall. Our two losses were against the 4th and 5th ranked teams. Congratulations to the players for a great weekend of hockey, fun and learning. I would also like to congratulate coaches Whitney and Leah on their appointments as teacher and police officer respectively.
