Roadrunners on a Winning Streak
Following a win and a tie to start their season, the Cambridge Senior A roadrunners  continued their undefeated streak with 7 straight wins and lead the league with 17 of a possible 18 points. In their third game of the season, the roadrunners  defeated the Brampton Canadettes  5 – 1 with goals coming from Melissa Visser (2), Lisa Donachey (2), and Carlee Bassindale. Picking up assists were Erin Zach (2), Brittany Manning (2), and Donachey.

Cambridge then hammered the Vaughan Flames in an 8 – 2 win.  Scoring for Cambridge were Manning (2), Zach (2), Donachey (2), Kyana Constable, and Bassindale. Assists came from Melissa Renno, Terilyn Smith, Taylor Jones (2), Bassindale, and Manning.
The roadrunners outshot the Scarborough Sharks 40 – 18 in their next game, but came up against a great goalie and had to eke off a 1 – 0 win. The loan goal and assist came from Zach and Manning. Lauren Tashiro picked up the shutout in net.
In their sixth game of the season, Cambridge defeated  the Markham Stouffville Stars 7 – 2. Cambridge goals came from Zach, Manning (3), Alexandra Maxwell (2), and Lauren Levesque. Assists came from Visser, Renno, Manning, and Levesque.
This past weekend the roadrunners were on fire as they first deafeated the Waterloo Ravens 7 – 4, then went on to defeat Scarborough 8 - 1.  Scoring against the Ravens were Constable, Zach (4), Donachey and Manning, with assists coming from Jones, Bassindale (2), Constable, Manning (2), Renno, Maxwell, and Zach. 
Scoring against Scarborough were Maxwell (2), Zach (3), Constable, Jones, and Donachey. Assists came from Zach (3), Jones (3), Visser (2), Smith (2), Levesque, Bassindale, Renno, Victoria Henry, and Stephanie Schneider.
Janel Kuska and Tashiro and have both been solid in net for the team.
