Atom B Volunteers in the Community!
Saturday afternoon the Atom B Roadrunners volunteered to serve ice cream sundaes at Chartwell Queens Square Retirement Residence.
They spent an hour at the residence. They took sundae orders from the residents with choices of diabetic vanilla, plain vanilla, and butterscotch ice cream. Additional choice of toppings included raspberry sauce, sprinkles and almond shavings. The girls took each residents order, brought the sundae to the them and engaged them in conversation. The girls also assisted in the clean up. The residents enjoyed their company so much......they have been invited back! Way to go Roadrunners......we are all so proud of you!
