The Atom B Roadrunners concluded their September exhibition series
The Atom B Roadrunners concluded their September exhibition series finishing with an impressive 6 wins 3 losses and a tie. This past weekend they entertained a more experienced and physical Stratford BB team that grinded out a 5-1 win. Martin got the lone Roadrunner tally.
Next up was the Brantford Ice Cats. The Roadrunners pushed the pace and their determination paid off with Labine challenging the Ice Cats defense and getting in alone on net, she made no mistake firing the puck over the Brantford goalie.
The Roadrunners travelled to Waterloo on Monday night where they were guests of the Ravens. Playing their trademark high tempo game, the Ravens accepted the Roadrunner challenge and both teams engaged in a fast, ferocious pace (only one whistle in the first period) The Waterloo goalie denied the Roadrunner shooters many times and the Ravens were able to get on the board late for a 1-0 win.
This is a very balanced Roadrunner team that works hard and continues to improve. Congratulations on a very successful September.
