Location: Hespeler Arena
The Cambridge roadrunners are once again excited to offer this great opportunity to all Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget players in our organization.

The roadrunners are holding a four-day mini camp, running August 28th to August 31st, 2017 from 11am to 4pm at the Hespeler Arena. Girls will be engaged in both on and off ice activities focused on developing their hockey skills.

The on-ice sessions will focus on power skating, other skating techniques and puck control. While the off-ice sessions will focus on shooting, stick handling, dryland and other fun activities.

The Cambridge roadrunners are also pleased to announce these two programs, who will be facilitating the training.

L. McIntosh Hockey Female Development – founder and head instructor Laura McIntosh, a member in the Hockey Canada Program, member of Canada’s Under-18 National Team 2008 (Competed in the first ever IIHF U-18 Worlds, won Silver Medal), will conduct the on - ice training.

Stoke Strength and Conditioning – Their mission is to inspire people to lead happier and healthier lives and to provide people of all ages and abilities the tools they need to reach their goals. Located at 1600 Industrial Road, Unit 14B, Cambridge, ON will conduct our dry land training.

Rivulettes Women's Jr. Hockey Team - members from our own Jr. team will be out to join the girls during the outside activities. (shooting, passing and road hockey games)

We can offer this at a cost of only $40 for all four (4) days.

We are attempting to facilitate a goalie development portion to this camp and all goalies are encouraged to register to properly gage interest. (goalie development will be prior to player times)

Players will be responsible to bring their own on ice equipment, (including a jersey), off ice wear (weather appropriate clothing, running shoes), street hockey stick and a snack for between sessions.

All participants must be registered with the CrGHA

Volunteers are welcome - email [email protected]
