18-19 Travel - Bantam BB - Bantam BB Wins Silver at Provincials!!!!
Submitted By roadrunners Hockey on Sunday, April 7, 2019
The Cambridge roadrunners Bantam BB team went undefeated through their first 6 games of the OWHA Provincial tournament including a thrilling triple OT victory in their first elimination game. The girls went on to play a top-ranked team from Toronto Leaside in the final but ultimately fell 3-2 in double OT.

Regardless, the performance of these young girls at the tournament was marked with resilience and a passion for playing for each other. During the time period of mid-November to mid-January, the team was ravaged by injuries and illnesses that took away significant development time. However as the team regained their health and renewed their attitude towards putting the team first and having fun, the results on and off the ice became apparent!

Congratulations to the 17 players, each one taking a regular shift who made this accomplishment possible! We know that you will have these memories for the rest of your lives but our hope is that the lessons of resilience, leadership and teamwork from this year stay with you forever.
