Open CrGHA board positions for the 2015/16 season
As part of our Constitution and By-Laws amendments procedure, the board has submitted an amendment to the current By-Law #2  and a new Ice Scheduling Policy. The attached documents were voted and approved by the 2014/15 board of directors.


Please find attached By-law #2 amendment to be voted on by the membership at the upcoming AGM May 13th, 2015. With the CrGHA board of approval, please find attached board nomination form for the 2015/16 season.

CrGHA Board Nomination Form 2015-2016 season

Open CrGHA board positions for the 2015/16 season are as follows:
· President
· Secretary/Registrar
· Treasurer
· Equipment Manager
· VP Travel
· Director at Large (4 open positions with 2 new members)
· Sponsorship & Marketing Director
· Tournament Director
· Parent Volunteer Coordinator

(Term and conditions for the open positions can be referenced from the constitution and attached nomination form)

Please submit board nominations forms directly to Mark Shepherd - Interim Secretary/Registrar [email protected] on or before April 30th at 4pm.  


ARTICLE IX: CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS AMENDMENTS

1) No amendments or alterations shall be made to this Constitution and By-Laws, except at an Annual General Meeting and only then by a vote of two-thirds majority of the outgoing Board of Directors and Members present at the meeting.

2) All amendments must be voted on and approved by the Board of Directors prior to being presented to the Membership.

3) No amendments shall be permitted from the membership at an Annual General Meeting.

4) The Board of Directors will present all Board of Directors approved Constitutional and By-Law amendments to the membership for voting at the first Annual General meeting of the membership.

5) Any Constitutional or By-Law amendment approved by the Board of Directors throughout the year immediately comes into effect and is the order of business for that season. The approved Amendment must be brought before the membership at the next Annual General Meeting for approval before Constitutional Change is complete.

6) Any member of the Association wishing to make an amendment to the Constitution or any By-Law must present the amendment to the Secretary/ Registrar not less than 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.

7) All proposed changes to the Constitution and By-Laws must be posted on the C.r.G.H.A., official website, twenty-one (21) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
