Resignation of Jim Pereira - Ice Scheduler
Jim, affectionately known as “Jimmy”, has announced his resignation as Ice Scheduler due to work and family obligations, effective December 9 2014. Jimmy spent over 4 seasons effectively managing one of the most difficult jobs in the association. The Board would like to thank Jimmy for his support, dedication and countless hours spent ensuring our girls had ice time to play.
Resignation of Sharon Pereira – Secretary/Registrar
Sharon Pereira has also announced her resignation as Secretary/Registrar due to work and family obligations, effective December 9, 2014. Sharon has spent over 5 seasons as both secretary and registrar. Sharon has been instrumental in growing our association as an executive of the board. The Board would also like to thank Sharon for her support and the time spent away from the family to make our girls hockey experience a great one. We will miss her leadership and support.
As a result of these changes, Scott Reiner will assume the interim position of Ice Scheduler along with his current responsibilities as Director at Large. Scott brings tremendous knowledge to the role and will ensure Jimmy’s great work continues. Mark Shepherd will assume interim position of Secretary/Registrar along with his current responsibilities as Director of Marketing/Sponsorship. The entire board would like to thank Scott and Mark for taking on the additional responsibilities and workload.
